(2) Analysis on the quality of test papers
Examination is an important method of assessing teaching quality. However, whether examination score can truly reflect teaching quality and students' level is closely correlative to the quality of test papers.
This research used test questions of Grade Two in primary school, which were worked out by teachers working in Grade Two of central primary school in this school district and test questions of Grade Five of primary school and Grade Three of iunior high school which were unified graduation examinations in 2006 worked out by the Institute for Educational Research of the city. All the Grade five students and Grade Three of junior high school in this city took the unified examination. This unified examination was also adopted to examine sample schools in provincial capital.Since the result of Grade Two only reflected the teaching quality of the preliminary stage of learning in rural primary schools, the essay did not make a deep investigation, and it was not necessary to analyze the quality of test questions. Now an analysis was made on test questions of Grade Five and junior Grade Three as follows.
